The national currency is the Argentine peso. It is advisable to pay in cash and in pesos.
You can pay for purchases in euros, or in US dollars, but the exchange rate applied by merchants will not be favorable. Many ATMs will allow you to obtain pesos with the credit card, beware of undersupply during the weekend; the amount of withdrawals is limited.
Credit cards are fairly well accepted by merchants (beware of bank commissions).
Entrance to the national parks is only paid for in pesos, not in dollars or euros and not by credit card.
